About This Role

This position will lead a small team to deliver effective contracts, financial and procurement advice. They will also oversee the management of ICT panel arrangements, liaise with central finance and legal teams, and ensure compliance with financial and procurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team to deliver effective contracts, financial and procurement advice.
  • Track and forecast program expenditure, prepare internal budgets reports, and conduct finance planning cycles.
  • Implement contract, procurement, and financial policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and instructions.
  • Oversee the management of ICT panel arrangements under Whole of Government arrangements.
  • Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with central finance, legal, and procurements teams.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and procurement framework, including maintaining a breaches register.
  • Manage the planning and coordination of procurement, contracting, and business engagement.
  • Negotiate contract conditions, success criteria, and specified deliverables with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Specialist authoritative advice on procurement processes, supplier evaluation, qualification, and selection.
  • Detailed analysis of contractual documents, commercial proposals, reports, and data.
  • Recommendations for contract management and stakeholder engagement.
