Motor Loss Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Loss Assessor to join our team at AAMC. As a Motor Loss Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of vehicle damage and preparing detailed reports to support our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting on-site assessments of vehicle damage and preparing detailed reports
• Negotiating and communicating with clients and repairers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
• Managing relationships with repairers and ensuring that repairs are completed to a high standard
• Controlling client costs and ensuring that repairs are aligned with business requirements
• Calculating vehicle values in line with industry guidelines
• Undertaking local and regional travel to conduct assessments and meet with clients and repairers

Requirements

• Motor vehicle trade qualification (preferred)
• Experience in the insurance assessing industry (preferred)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions
• National Australian Police Check and willingness to obtain
