About the Role

Hatch is seeking a highly skilled Contractor Delivery Lead to join our Brisbane office. As a key member of our Project Delivery Group, you will be responsible for overseeing our Australia region business and driving growth across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support to the business on new engagements and proposals, developing delivery strategies and sponsoring proposals.
  • Lead negotiations with contractors, clearly explaining Hatch's Contractor Delivery model.
  • Ensure a homogeneous approach across all Hatch business units for engagements using the Contractor Delivery model.
  • Accountable for delivery sponsorships on awarded engagements featuring contractor/joint venture partners or clients.
  • Develop a Contractor Delivery team aligned with Hatch's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proven experience working with or for a General Contractor in the infrastructure or energy industries, managing complex engineering projects.
  • Experience and understanding of alternative delivery projects, including design build, CMGC, or progressive design build.
  • Key project leadership roles and client management experience on project pursuits and delivery.
  • Understanding and experience with win strategies, pricing, and project scheduling.
  • Technical writing experience and knowledge of Project Controls (risk, estimate, cost, schedule).
  • Experience with proposals/RFP participations from conception to award.
  • Contractual/commercial knowledge in DSA or subcontracts negotiations.
