About the Opportunity

We're currently seeking an experienced Security Officer (Community Housing) to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a roster that includes 4 nights on and 4 nights off.

As a Security Officer (Community Housing), you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their premises, and the public. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality security services with a customer-centric approach.
  • Focusing on de-escalation and presence.
  • Responding promptly to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance while providing necessary support.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks in various situations.
  • Managing access control to ensure secure entry and exit points.
  • Drafting detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate data logs.
  • Handling administrative tasks to support site operations.
What We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who bring professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A current Security License (essential).
  • Ability to work a permanent night shift roster.
  • A Control Room License (highly regarded).
  • A current First Aid certificate.
  • Exceptional personal presentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
