Be part of Queensland's infrastructure future

CPB Contractors Pty Limited is working on Queensland's largest infrastructure project, and we are building our team for the future. South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics, and we are committed to developing Cross River Rail, which will forever change the way Queenslander's travel.

A collaboration of expertise

Our team brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

Your role in our team

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the effective coordination of design, procurement and construction for Services and Rail packages to ensure safety, time, cost and environmental objectives are achieved. You will also provide leadership to Project Engineers and Site Engineers.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the effective set-up, delivery and completion of the Rail packages.
  • Review design and construction plans, schedules and method statements to ensure constructability.
  • Monitor project progress against the programme and budget.
  • Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.
  • Prepare accurate project reports.

About you

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with a recognised degree in Engineering, or other relevant discipline, and previous experience at a Senior Project Engineer level managing major multi-disciplinary trade packages on large scale building or infrastructure projects. You will also have Rail possessions experience, leadership ability to provide mentorship to direct reports, demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost and risk, and demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety.

Our commitment to diversity
