Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in reconstructive surgery, particularly in the head and neck region.

Job Description

This is a full-time position available for 12 months. The successful applicant will provide high-quality care to patients under the supervision of consultant staff while undertaking a comprehensive postgraduate fellowship training program in Head and Neck Reconstructive and Skull Base Surgery.

  • The successful applicant will participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, clinical audit, and administrative activities within the department at John Hunter Hospital.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current medical practitioner eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA and hold Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in ENT/Head and Neck Surgery and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
  • International Medical Graduates who are overseas trained specialists must be assessed by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and as a result, gain limited registration with AHPRA on a specialist pathway satisfactory to the college, AHPRA, and HNELHD prior to commencement.
