Laundry Support Assistant

We are seeking a Laundry Support Assistant to fill a vital position in our organization.
As a Laundry Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring residents and clients feel comfortable and dignified by providing fresh, clean clothes and linen.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, dry, fold, and sort clothes and linen for residents, clients, and facilities.
- Maintain laundry areas in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Engage with residents and clients, addressing their concerns and needs regarding special clothing items.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to the upkeep of laundry equipment and supplies, including regular stock checks.
- No prior experience in laundry or cleaning is necessary, but it is an advantage.
- You must be able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
- You should be able to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- A police check or relevant worker check may be required.
