Laundry Assistant Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Laundry Assistant to join our team at a highly regarded facility. Our focus is on building a sincere and caring partnership with residents to enable them to live a purposeful life.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of infection control and hazardous substances, be capable of a high standard of cleaning techniques, and have the ability to be self-motivated and a team member.

As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment efficiently and effectively
  • Sort, wash, dry, and iron laundry items according to instructions
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of infection control and hazardous substances
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • First Aid Certificate desirable
