The Mine Engineer Planning role is a critical position within the Evolution Mining team, responsible for the effective execution of mine planning activities. As a key member of the mining team, you'll work closely with the Superintendent Mining Engineer to ensure the successful operation of the mine. Your responsibilities will include:
- Long-term scheduling - Assist development of life-of-mine and budget/forecast schedules.
- Monitoring and Support - Analyze plan compliance, efficiencies, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Cost management - Monitor underground costs and ensure designs maximize value.
- Hazard identification and risk elimination - Identify hazards and risks at early stages and eliminate or engineer controls at the design level.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mine Engineer Planning professional to join our team. You'll need a strong background in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' experience in underground mine engineering. Proven experience identifying, understanding, and solving complex problems is essential, as is experience with mine design software, ideally Deswik and Aegis.
