We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to join our team in Mackay, QLD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting NDT inspections and testing on various industrial equipment and machinery, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety standards. The role involves working closely with our maintenance teams to provide comprehensive inspection and testing services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct NDT inspections and testing on industrial equipment and machinery using various methods such as magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, and ultrasonic testing.
- Develop and implement effective inspection and testing plans to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify potential issues and develop solutions to prevent equipment failure.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Verified NDT experience with industrial or mining background.
- Iso 9712-Level 2 or equivalent certification in magnetic particle testing.
- Iso 9712- Level 2 or equivalent certification in penetrant testing.
- Iso 9712-Level 1 or equivalent in ultrasonic testing.
- Iso9712 Level 2 Ultrasonic( Weld) would be advantageous.
- Report writing experience; can prepare and compile reports and raw data information.
- IRATA rope access certification.
- White Card.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
