We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role involves greeting guests, explaining menus, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explain the menu and beverage list to guests, accommodating special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Use point-of-sale systems to place orders efficiently.
  • Liaise with kitchen teams to handle special requests.
  • Clean and reset tables, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and practicing general OHS principles.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 12 months' experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Foster excellent guest and team relations, initiating contact and establishing rapport easily.
  • Maintain a professional image through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Handle tasks carefully and correctly, being thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate high energy levels and versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
  • Remain calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
  • Be a good team player, contributing to and assisting coworkers without being asked.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A valid RSA certification.
