Job Title: Tax Advisory Expert, KPMG Australia

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Expert to join our team at KPMG Australia. As a key member of our Business and Tax Advisory team, you will provide expert taxation advice to our clients in the emerging, private and mid-market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide taxation advice on personal income tax, capital gains tax, superannuation and private company tax issues.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies and individuals.
  • Project manage the annual compliance process for a large number of client groups.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and provide training to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Intermediate experience with the preparation and review of financial statements prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to specific deadlines.
  • High standard of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.
