About the Role

Ignite Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join their team in a vital role. As a Compliance Specialist, you will contribute to maintaining the integrity of some of Australia's key programs.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work on compliance tasks that underpin the department's commitment to program integrity and regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting compliance reviews, gathering evidence, and recommending findings.

You will also take action to resolve compliance concerns, perform case management and related administrative tasks, maintain accurate records in the case management system, analyse data and documentation to support review findings and guide actions.

Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders via phone and written communications regarding compliance reviews, draft compliance review reports, letters, internal briefings, and reporting documents as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough compliance reviews and gather evidence to inform recommendations
  • Take swift action to resolve compliance concerns and ensure program integrity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the case management system
  • Analyse data and documentation to support review findings and guide actions
  • Engage with stakeholders to provide clear and concise information regarding compliance reviews
  • Draft high-quality reports, letters, and briefings as required

Key Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in Compliance Officer, Regulatory Officer, or Case Management Officer roles
  • Prefer experience within a government environment
  • Strong investigative skills in a compliance environment
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in making objective assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience preparing reports
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and work independently within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of AU$65,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
