Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Capital Markets delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects to our internal clients and external customers, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of project managers to deliver projects across the Capital Markets portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal clients and external customers.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in line with pre-agreed timeframes and milestones are met.
  • Manage the testing team to ensure that projects are thoroughly tested and meet the required quality standards.
  • Be the escalation point for resolving delivery issues and implement clear and direct interventions with project teams when required.
  • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to enable the successful delivery of the portfolio in line with agreed budget, quality and timescale parameters.
  • Ensure that all projects delivered are in line with the Capital Markets SDLC.
  • Own continuous improvement initiatives and drive all improvement changes to successful completion.
  • Ensure effective recruitment, development and succession planning for the management of the Delivery Managers within the Capital Markets delivery group.
  • Develop the Capital Markets delivery capability and knowledge base, aligned with industry best practices and recognised project management methodologies.
  • Be an active member of the Capital Markets Leadership team and contribute to setting and executing the strategic plan for that region.
  • Provide leadership, direction setting and effective management to the Capital Markets Delivery team globally.
  • Liaise with Delivery Management teams globally to ensure that best practice project manager processes are applied consistently across FNZ Global Delivery activity.
  • Manage the planning process for agreement of the Delivery Portfolio and on-going changes to it in line with new business development.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Directors and Project Managers and be responsible for ensuring that Capital Markets implementation and service enhancement projects deliver in line with project plans.
  • Responsible for ensuring projects are estimated, planned, managed and reported in line with the Capital Markets SDLC.
  • Ensure appropriate governance is in place to manage, monitor and report on the Capital Markets Project Portfolio. This will include reporting on projects compliance to the FNZ Capital Markets SDLC. Responsible for ensuring Projects identify, quantify and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Responsible for ensuring robust change management is applied to all projects, and that commercial change control processes are applied when required.
  • Resolve any delivery issues escalated from direct reports and other stakeholders.
