Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive exceptional recruitment outcomes in Japan and the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end recruitment strategies for early careers and experienced roles in Japan and APAC.
- Design proactive sourcing and attraction plans using LinkedIn Recruiter and local platforms, ensuring a strong employer brand presence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on recruitment needs and processes.
- Lead the graduate and intern recruitment cycle, including marketing, campus engagement, event planning, and university partnerships.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience through clear communication, timely updates, and objective assessment.
- Deliver compelling and inclusive job descriptions and strategic hiring plans that meet business objectives.
- Attend and organise in-person and virtual attraction events, such as careers fairs, to enhance employer branding and talent campaigns.
- Collaborate with Early Careers and Marketing teams to strengthen employer branding and talent attraction efforts.
- Report on recruitment progress and share insights with stakeholders, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Contribute to cross-regional TA projects and process improvements, driving best practices across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment (sourcing to offer) within a complex, fast-paced organisation.
- Experience managing both early careers (graduate/intern) and experienced hiring processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across regional and international teams.
- Familiarity with the APAC early careers landscape and university systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and priorities effectively, with a focus on delivering results.
- Experience designing or supporting employer branding and talent attraction campaigns, with a track record of success.
- Fluency in English (C1) and native or JLPT N1-level Japanese language proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, with a customer-centric approach.
- A proactive, curious mindset and enthusiasm for experimenting, learning, and improving, with a growth mindset.
