Role Responsibilities:
As a Mining Superintendent, your main duty is to manage resources to guarantee the safe and effective attainment of production goals through the optimization and execution of mining strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the mining workforce
- Guiding the growth and development of Supervisors
- Fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness

Candidate Profile:
You are an experienced mining professional with a robust leadership capability to drive performance effectively.
- Possess an NSW Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency and a valid practicing certificate
- Have a Manager of an Open Cut Mine practicing certificate (highly regarded)
- Exhibit extensive experience in open cut coal operations
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a commitment to team development
- Ability to build solid working relationships across different departments
- Commitment to our workforce, environment, community, and continuous improvement
