  • Assist with outings, events, and special celebrations, fostering a sense of community and connection.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Collaborate with care staff and families to tailor activities, providing tailored support.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' behaviour or mood, prioritising their well-being.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A compassionate and patient demeanour, showing empathy towards others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with colleagues and residents.
  • Creativity in planning meaningful activities, thinking outside the box.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Understanding of dementia and other age-related conditions, staying up-to-date with latest developments.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills, leveraging technology effectively.

Additionally, you will be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certificate, demonstrating commitment to health and safety.
