Casual Early Childhood Learning Assistant

This role involves working closely with classroom teachers to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for our students.

As a Casual Early Childhood Learning Assistant, you will be responsible for providing dedicated support and promoting the school's objectives. You must demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence and ongoing learning. Additionally, you must respect and uphold the school's values and ethos while safeguarding the welfare of children.

About This Role:
  • You will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to create engaging educational programs.
  • Develop strategies to promote the school's aims and objectives.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and continuous learning.
  • Comply with the school's Code of Conduct and policy requirements.
  • Promote the welfare and safety of children.

We are seeking an individual with relevant qualifications and experience working with students of all primary ages. A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards is essential.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
  • A valid Working with Vulnerable People Card.
  • Experience working with students of all primary ages.
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Standards.
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Education Support.
  • Ability to obtain HLTAID009 – Provide CPR and HLTAID012 - Provide first aid in an education and care setting certifications.
  • Qualifications or experience in working with students with needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
