A residential care home is seeking a highly skilled Team Leader who can provide excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviors and other medical conditions. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning the day, administering medication, attending appointments, delegating tasks, meeting deadlines, supporting the registered care manager, staff and the management team.
Key areas of responsibility include personal care and assistance, medication administration and training, domestic tasks and cleaning, laundry and ironing, meal preparation and planning, daily reports and paperwork, staff meetings and communication, community support and engagement, healthcare appointments and liaison, and activities in the home and community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a residential care home as a Team Leader, hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social or be willing to complete it, and possess enhanced DBS.
