We are seeking a Team Leader to support our residential care home team. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, including weekends, and be responsible for supporting people aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal care and assisting with medication
- Domestic tasks and maintaining the home environment
- Preparing meals and completing daily reports
- Scheduling appointments and attending staff meetings
- Supporting residents in the community and participating in activities
The Team Leader will also be responsible for planning the day, delegating tasks, and meeting deadlines. They will work closely with the management team, registered care manager, and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Patient and empathetic approach when dealing with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
