Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine physician to join our team at Wyong Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and other medical staff to deliver excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- A minimum of 4 postgraduate years of experience working in an acute hospital setting, with a minimum of 12 months in an Australian Emergency Department as a Career Medical Officer, Trainee, or Senior Resident Medical Officer.
- Standard Pathway Applicants: a minimum of 6 postgraduate years of experience working in an acute hospital setting, with a minimum of 2 years in an Australian Emergency Department working as a Career Medical Officer, Trainee, or Senior Resident Medical Officer.
Wyong Hospital is an acute major metropolitan hospital providing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services to residents in the northern region of the Central Coast.
Our newly-built, state-of-the-art department provides 24/7 high-quality care to around 200 patients each day.
Our hospital has busy mixed emergency departments with a wide variety of presentations, including good exposure to trauma and pediatrics.
