We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our apprenticeship program as a Boilermaker/Welder. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing and engineering industry.

As a Boilermaker/Welder Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn a wide range of skills including metal fabrication, welding, and reading technical drawings. You will work on real projects and gain valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks
  • Grind and prepare surfaces
  • Maintain equipment to meet quality standards
  • Work with supervisors to prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines
  • Follow Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Complete other tasks as requested by management
  • Operate workshop machines
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Conduct thermal cutting, measuring, and technical drawing
  • Weld with metal, gas, flux core, and tungsten

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license
  • Interest in the trade
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to listen and learn
  • Motivated and driven individual
  • Adaptable to work conditions and able to work well with others
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingsness to work long days, including weekends if needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol screening
  • Certificate II in Engineering (pre-apprenticeship) or ongoing apprenticeship in Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-4:30PM and Saturday 6AM-1PM with free onsite parking.
