The Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Boilermaker/Welder in heavy fabrication of buckets for mining and earthmoving equipments. You will work with one of our highly respected clients, who is based in Canning Vale, starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company and be responsible for welding high-quality products used across multiple industries.

As the Boilermaker/Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and refurbishment of large, high-wear steel components such as loader, excavator, and dragline buckets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wear plate, heavy structural steel, and advanced welding techniques in a high-precision, high-strength environment.

About the Role:

Skills and Experience Required

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabrication Engineer, or Welder.

  • 3–5 years' experience in heavy steel fabrication, preferably in mining or construction equipment manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of wear materials, welding techniques, and structural integrity principles specific to earthmoving buckets.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and fabrication specs.

  • Physically fit with the ability to lift, bend, and work in confined or elevated spaces

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team in a fast-paced environment.
