We have a strong Engineering division that designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

The Role

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Structural Steel Fabricators to join our Engineering and Construction team working on the manufacture and installation of structural steel at our construction sites.

This is a permanent full-time position where you will be required to complete sheet metal projects ensuring that technical requirements and specifications are met.

Responsibilities
  1. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications for projects
  2. Supervise and provide support to apprentices to ensure they receive appropriate training
  3. Coordinate resources to complete projects within agreed timeframes
  4. Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in finished work
  5. Ensure housekeeping standards, tools and equipment are maintained
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications or relevant trade experience
  • Experience operating manual and CNC press brakes (an advantage)
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a busy hands-on environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, accuracy and safety
