This government organisation is in an exciting phase of growth and looking to add a key member to their team.

The role offers a unique opportunity for a first-time consultancy mover to work in the commercial/government space and receive one-on-one training with the Director, focusing on risk management.

You will report directly into the Head of the Division and be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development of strategic internal audit plans that support enterprise risk management frameworks
  • Providing recommendations and advice to stakeholders regarding compliance requirements
  • Managing third-party auditors
  • Providing input into a range of strategic and operational documents
  • Supporting the development of compliance tools, policies, processes, and procedures

You will also be required to perform ad hoc duties as needed.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • A postgraduate qualification such as CA/CPA/CIA or CISA
  • Prior experience in external or internal audit in a large, complex business and demonstrated experience in influencing stakeholders to address internal control issues
  • Passion for adding value and taking people on a journey that ultimately improves the business
