Mathematics Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled mathematics lecturer to join our academic community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor undergraduate, honours, and/or postgraduate coursework students in mathematics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching and facilitating mathematics courses
  • Preparing teaching materials and assessments
  • Providing high-quality service to students, including academic consultation and advice
  • Contribute to curriculum development and improvement of teaching practices

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or secondary school mathematics teacher to refresh their mathematical skills and re-engage with the discipline at the tertiary level. You will be part of a vibrant academic community that values innovation in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have completed a degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Education (majoring in Mathematics/Statistics) and possess a strong passion for mathematics education. They will also have evidence of high-quality mathematics teaching at a senior secondary level and emerging teaching profile in mathematics/statistics.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and education check.
