About the Opportunity

This leadership position requires stability and future-proofing of our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8-9 staff members and provide oversight to smaller interstate branches remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support a warehouse team of 8-9 staff members.
  • Identify and resolve stock integrity issues and improve dispatch workflows.
  • Create clear daily structure - toolbox talks, WHS, and shift planning.
  • Work with sales and purchasing to ensure smooth cross-functional flow.
  • Support interstate dispatch operations (Mount Isa, Kalgoorlie, Adelaide).
  • Implement structured improvements and standard operating procedures.
  • Introduce practical systems like 5S or visual management.
  • Monitor KPIs such as DIFOT, inventory accuracy, and team productivity.
  • Oversee warehouse assets and resources.
  • Lead from the front in supporting WHS practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading teams in a warehouse environment.
  • A track record of owning results and driving improvements.
  • Experience personally implementing positive change or process improvements.
  • Intermediate level skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data entry support).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety and OHS leadership.
