Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team for an exciting project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work at the customer site alongside a senior member of our team, representing the customer and gaining valuable insights into how our customer conducts Engineering Changes, Configuration Management, Asset Management, and Sustainment activities. They will be responsible for analyzing, building, and utilizing data sets to generate useful outcomes for the end customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data modelling and analysis
  • Strong software engineering and coding skills, ideally in a data-intensive environment
  • Informing strategy and architecture through research and industry best practices
  • Influencing senior stakeholders through deep technical expertise, customer/domain knowledge, and vision
  • Building and developing moderate volume/complexity data pipelines into a production environment
  • Translating visualization designs into physical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics

Requirements:

  • Data modelling and data analysis
  • Strong software engineering and coding skills, ideally in a data-intensive environment
  • Informing strategy and architecture through research and industry best practices
  • Influencing senior stakeholders through deep technical expertise, customer/domain knowledge, and vision
  • Building and developing moderate volume/complexity data pipelines into a production environment
  • Translating visualization designs into physical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics
  • Developing Python scripts for data cleansing, analysis, and modeling
  • Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Search, Translator, Speech, Language, Vision, Content
  • Familiarity with Azure Fabric Data Science, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure Data Fabric
