Job OpportunityThis is a unique chance for a Graduate Occupational Therapist to develop their skills and expertise in a multidisciplinary therapy setting. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides therapeutic services across the lifespan – from toddlers to aged care.
Your daily responsibilities will include managing a caseload, assessing clients' functional level and capacity, providing evidence-based interventions, and recommending Assistive Technology to promote independence.
You will work in a range of clinical settings, including our beautiful clinic spaces, private hospital, residential aged care facilities, schools, homes and via telehealth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based
- Support and advise on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations
- PD opportunities (in-house) - 3 x weekly education sessions + online learning hub + guest speakers + in-house leadership development programs
- Supervision – paired with a dedicated supervisor for 1 hour of 1:1 weekly supervision

Requirements- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle

- Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
- Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) OR eligible for the same upon completion of a university degree in occupational therapy at an Australian university
