As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with the Agency's business subject matter experts, end users, developers, and other technical specialists to conduct analysis and define requirements to assist the Agency to plan, prepare, and execute significant program delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and express these as user stories and requirements.
- Conduct research and in-depth analysis of existing business processes and products.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, end users, product owners, architects, developers, and testers to design and deliver solutions.
- Support the team's delivery managers.
- Sprint planning with delivery teams.
- Exceptional ability to confidently elicit and define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria following best practice principles.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to facilitate interviews, undertake workshops, and document analysis, as well as work closely with stakeholders to elicit needs and develop a shared understanding of current processes.
- Ability to proactively consider and undertake work to identify gaps, potential waste, and suggest improvements. Apply and monitor appropriate use of modeling and analysis tools, methods, and standards.
- A demonstrable passion for innovation and a dedication to working collaboratively, building strong relationships with stakeholders, taking into account individual views and ideas, and tailoring the approach.
- Industry certification or relevant ICT qualifications, such as International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
