Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $50,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Food Court Assistant, your responsibilities will include preparing hot food, operating dispensing machines, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will also assist with front-end duties and other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares hot food, such as pizzas, chicken, and soft pretzels, by proving, rolling, shaping, adding toppings or fillings, and baking items.
  • Rings up sales, collects money, makes change, and places whole pizza orders from members at the counter and on the phone.
  • Dispenses dessert and drink items, cleans, sanitizes, services, and refills dispensing machines.
  • Maintains self-serve soda pop area, condiment table, and eating area, including bussing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, sweeping, and mopping floors, and emptying trash.
  • Cleans and sanitizes machines, work surfaces, floors, pans, utensils, and counters, and takes garbage to the trash compactor and operates the compactor.
  • Pulls ingredients and supplies from the warehouse, stocks large volume ingredients to shelves, cooler, and freezer, stages ingredients to preparation areas, and refills dispensing machines, all while complying with health codes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education/Training: High School certificate or higher
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must complete Costco Food Safety Certification
  • Experience: Hospitality or Food service experience
