
Part-time Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 250 staff across multiple awards and pay cycles.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll accurately and on time for approximately 250 employees across various awards.
- Manage two weekly pay cycles and three fortnightly pay cycles.
- Interpret and apply relevant awards to ensure compliance, including Manufacturing Award, Amusement Award, Retail Award, Road Transport Award, Social Community Home Care & Disability Services (SCAHDS) Award, and Hospitality Award.
- Maintain employee records in the payroll system (ELMO).
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner.
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and audits as required.
- Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of award interpretation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple pay cycles effectively.
- Experience using ELMO payroll software or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with the listed awards.
