As a key member of our team, the Investment Compliance Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring that our clients' investments are managed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. This involves daily monitoring of rules within client investment mandates (IMAs) and assisting in the investment process.
This role requires direct interaction with clients and investment managers to provide high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include responding to queries, resolving issues, participating in client service meetings and reviews, and assisting clients with related monitoring activities such as substantial shareholder, exposure, and derivatives monitoring.
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in investment compliance or a related field, with tertiary qualifications preferred but strong industry experience considered. Key skills include interpreting investment mandate agreements, setting up rules, investigating breaches, communicating with investment managers and clients, and performing data maintenance and reporting.
Additionally, the analyst will be required to maintain procedures, risk, and control guidelines, implement service and process improvements, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Project/Business Analyst skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good judgment in client commitments
