About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Membership Coordinator/Industry Analyst. You will be responsible for supporting our membership engagement, managing key relationships, and driving membership growth to foster increased space sector engagement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed time management skills, strong networking skills, and a high-energy attitude. An undergraduate degree is highly regarded, and an interest in the space industry is essential.

You will work closely with our team to deliver key events, manage stakeholder relationships, and research grant opportunities suitable for our members. If you are a self-starter who is passionate about the space industry and wants to make a meaningful contribution, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support SIAA's membership engagement and manage key relationships.
  • Drive SIAA Membership growth to foster increased space sector engagement and increase SIAA membership.
  • Lead SIAA marketing communications via email and social media posting and develop materials.
  • Support the delivery of key SIAA events, including SIAA's annual Southern Space conference and SIAA's engagement with international delegations.
  • Assist with key SIAA Membership events, such as Member-Led Working Groups and International Industry Study Tours.
  • Research grant opportunities suitable for SIAA and/or its members.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including SIAA Member organizations, government representatives, and Australian and international space industry members.
