Job Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging motion graphics and animations for various digital platforms, including social media and dynamic presentations.
  • Design key art and concepts from scratch, including creating style frames and references to communicate ideas.
  • Contribute to the conceptualisation and development of creative concepts for motion design projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, editors, sound designers, account directors, and production teams.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on animations and motion graphics to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Work efficiently across large-scale After Effects projects.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all projects and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present and justify strategy, ideation, and design concepts.
  • Provide guidance to junior designers and other teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in motion design to elevate our work.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, including other animation programs like Cinema 4D.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience in motion designing a wide range of projects, from shorter assets to longer scripted pieces.
  • High-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Advanced design & composition skills.
  • Excellent understanding of motion, movement, and pacing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Confident communication skills, including verbal, nonverbal, and online.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of the team.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills to address technical challenges & find innovative solutions.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments, working within a team of designers or collaborating with other departments.
  • DESIRED: Experience working with Figma and/or Cinema 4D.
