Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our network safety strategy.

This role will see you develop and implement strategies to prevent asset failures with a clear focus on fire prevention and community safety, optimizing the cost, risk and performance of our distribution network assets over the asset lifecycle.

  • Develop and lead network safety strategies for our distribution networks assets
  • Assess asset risk profiles and develop mitigation plans

The ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrated experience in Technical/Engineering roles within the utilities industry with experience in asset management and/or operational management. They will also possess a demonstrated commitment to safety outcomes and understanding of Asset Management leading practices, frameworks and relevant standards, including regulatory frameworks and legislation.

The successful applicant will be able to lead and coordinate failure and incident investigations, with knowledge of equipment, and technologies, with a focus on primary and secondary equipment on the Electricity Distribution Network and emerging trends and innovations. Analytical skills and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize asset performance are also essential.
