Located in the heart of Darling Harbour, Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour includes two of Sydney's most popular hotels. Surrounded by tourist attractions, restaurants, and bars, Novotel & ibis are renowned for quality, simplicity, and value for money with over 750+ rooms and the award-winning Ternary restaurant boasting spectacular views of Darling Harbour and the Sydney CBD.
We are seeking a purchasing and stores guru to ensure our Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour hotels' operations have the supplies they need, when they need them, at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly analyse market demand and manage inventory to drive cost efficiencies.
- Oversee stock control, conduct detailed stock takes, and ensure stores are meticulously organised and secure.
- Lead purchasing for food, beverages, and general goods, manage supplier relationships, and support outlet promotions and events.
Requirements:
- Expertise in inventory management and stock control.
- Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, menu engineering, and procurement strategy.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with suppliers and internal teams.
