About the Opportunity

As a data analyst, you will have the chance to work with large datasets and utilise popular data analysis tools.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of databases. You will be responsible for analysing, developing, troubleshooting, and documenting data issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and present data for business understanding.
  • Research and guide on data migration software.
  • Develop and implement ETL solutions and data migration tasks.
  • Interpret functional and reporting aspects of data.
  • Present data to stakeholders, highlighting scope and gaps/issues on data from source.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Design and write procedures, and modify existing ones.
  • Liaise with peers and test analysts to identify and fix issues ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Work alongside teams to establish business needs.
  • Document technical specifications and operational procedures for data cleansing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in data analysis and software development.
  • Solid consulting ability across data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyse and critically evaluate gathered information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating and procuring software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant degree in IT industry and certification in relevant technologies.
