Position Overview

At Watters, they pride themselves on being more than just an electrical service provider; they are a collective focused on achieving excellence in the Electrical Industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in a variety of projects, including healthcare facilities, aged care centers, large retail spaces, and educational/government buildings.
  • Execute installations of lighting systems, power distribution, switchboards, lighting control systems, generators, fire systems, and UPS systems.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, and Suppliers.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the A Grade Electrician role is a proficient and safety-oriented professional holding an A Grade Electrical Licence. They should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to mentor apprentices. Preferred qualifications include an EWP Yellow Card and High-Risk Licence, with a strong commitment to compliance standards being essential. Attributes such as enthusiasm, self-motivation, and immediate availability are crucial for contributing to Watters' mission of electrical excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • Possess an A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Hold a current Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Have a White/Red Card.
  • While not mandatory, an EWP Yellow Card and High-Risk Licence are preferred.
  • Provide a Current Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
