Urban Planning Specialist

Town planning is a dynamic field that requires a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. As a town planning professional, you will have the opportunity to work across various aspects of planning, including urban, rural, and environmental matters.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of development applications and other statutory documents.
- Conduct research and analysis on planning policies and legislation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to complex planning problems.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with the community and promote council initiatives.
You will be part of a supportive team environment where you can grow and develop your skills and knowledge. You will also have access to professional learning and development opportunities, as well as a health and wellbeing program.
About the Role- This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week, with one rostered day off every four weeks.
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of planning theory and practice, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
