Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanic/Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/Diesel Fitter to join our team in North West Queensland. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our light and heavy plant/fleet.

About the Role:

  • Execute daily work schedules and tasks with precision, striving for the highest standards.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections as part of our fleet management program.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of plant and fleet vehicles, including fabrication, product installation, and welding as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or a Tradesperson's Rights Certificate.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical/diesel fitter role, ideally within the heavy vehicle/plant industry.
  • Strong skills in completing accurate paperwork, including job cards, timesheets, and pre-starts.
  • A current C Class Driver's Licence.
