The Enterprise Delivery team within our Technology and Transformation Division is the heartbeat of our transformation. The team connects the dots, finds gaps, risks, and opportunities, and turns discussions into actions to bring our strategy to life for our customers, stakeholders, and people.

You'll report into the GM Delivery in Enterprise Delivery, ensuring everything is designed to be lean and fit-for-purpose. Working closely with the GM Delivery and Leadership Team, you'll shift our delivery culture and operating model to one that's conducive to experimentation, fast learning, and producing tangible results quickly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Modernising and simplifying our project delivery framework, governance, and investment funding to match our changing operating model and processes.
  • Optimising how we support delivery and decision-making through our tools and technologies.
  • Taking a 'whole of portfolio' view to understand what's happening across and in our delivery teams and using this to drive focus, clarity, and action through insights and quality reporting for our Executives and Boards.
  • Efficiently managing Enterprise Delivery resources to ensure our transformation initiatives are well-supported and executed based on planned outcomes, in line with workforce strategy.
  • Ensuring new projects are set up for success, providing guidance and assurance support in line with our Health Check / PIR framework, and driving a culture of sharing knowledge and learnings for the benefit of others.
  • Leading a team of PMO Managers and Analysts who support Program Directors and delivery teams to keep momentum, uplifting capability, and driving performance.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record in executing complex, strategic, and transformational change, with the ability to move between strategy and execution.
  • Deep knowledge of business value drivers in banking or a financial services environment.
  • Experience influencing Executive and Senior stakeholders and presenting and liaising with Executive-level stakeholders and committees.
  • Led a team of PMO Managers, Analysts, or equivalents to drive a culture of high performance, collaboration, and ownership.
  • A sound understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and practice and experience working with Agile principles, frameworks, and tools.
