Commissioning Engineer Electrical Role

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer Electrical to join our Melbourne team, supporting projects across various markets primarily in the Mission Critical sector.

This role offers opportunities for growth and learning within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commissioning process including technical assessments developing plans schedules reports checklists and test scripts.
  • Provide technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risks.
  • Collaborate with general contractors to develop commissioning strategies aligned with project objectives.
  • Manage factory tests inspections and reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings and manage detailed recording of meetings and progress.
  • Maintain data in commissioning software and prepare progress and close-out reports.
  • Coordinate third-party sign-offs and review commissioning documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in mechanical electrical and controls disciplines.
  • Proven leadership in commissioning efforts from design to project completion.
  • Knowledge of building systems HVAC electrical mechanical controls and a passion for sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel to site locations.
  • Strong troubleshooting report writing and operational knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver's license.
