Job Summary

We are seeking a casual Sales Assistant to join our team at our Launceston store. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the sales and profit targets of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases
    • Stay up-to-date with new product releases and promotions
  • Sales and Profit Targets
    • Contribute to the sales and profit targets of the store through effective sales techniques and product recommendations
    • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Full Working Rights
    • Hold a valid Australian work visa or be an Australian citizen
  • Age
    • Be at least 15 years old
  • Education
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
