About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Seasonal Pool Manager to lead our teams at Euroa Swimming Pool and other regional pools in the Strathbogie Shire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors and employees, while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve budgeted performance targets and maintain high-quality facilities.
  • Lead and coach a high-performance team to deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) and individual development plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our council partner and local community.
  • Recruit and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their work effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes.
  • Legal working rights in Australia and a National Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in aquatic operations.
  • Tertiary qualification in sports/leisure/recreation field.
  • Pool Life Guard Certificate.
  • Pool Operations Certificate.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
