Job Summary
The JPS Medical organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics to join our team. As a Staff Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality specialist services to our patients and contributing to the leadership and development of our anaesthesia team.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position, with regular daytime hours, amounting to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations in both hospitals, delivering high-quality specialist services, and contributing to the delivery of the Undergraduate medical education program.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality specialist services to patients in both hospitals
- Oversee operations in both hospitals, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
- Contribute to the delivery of the Undergraduate medical education program
- Assume responsibility for leadership and contribute to the development of the anaesthesia team
Requirements
- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
- Current Driver's Licence
- Desirable: Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) or equivalent as determined in accordance with International Medical Graduates (IMGs) clinical practice assessment requirements of ANZCA
