We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Practitioner to join our team as a Staff Specialist in Gastroenterology at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist diagnosis, treatment, and care for public patients in Gastroenterology.
- Offer a consultative service in Gastroenterology to other disciplines within the Department of Health.
- Be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and to be actively involved in research.
- Undertake quality improvement activities.
- Holds specialist registration; or
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway; or
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experienced professionals.
