Compassionate Home Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate home care specialist to join our team in Northam/Toodyay and surrounding areas.

  • Deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible.

The role will involve a range of personal care tasks incl. showering, grooming, toileting etc. and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
  • Follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, and have unrestricted access to a vehicle.
  • Be able to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience for those with a relevant Certificate, or 6+ months for those without.
  • Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
