Maintenance Trades Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our team for 12 months on a fixed-term secondment.

As a Maintenance Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance team with duties on plant and equipment to optimize operational efficiency of the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking plant, room, and equipment routine checks, including cleaning in all areas of the site.
  • Carrying out Machine Shop and Workshop deep clean on a regular basis.
  • Providing support to the Maintenance Store, including forklift operations.
  • Supporting preventative maintenance tasks in all areas of the site as directed by the SAP PM Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance records are completed for activities.

Responsibilities also involve prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production.

The ideal candidate must have strong collaboration skills with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams.

You should also possess proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.

Vital to this role is maintaining good client relations and service efficiency.
