Job Description

As a Vacation Care and OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to children. You will support the Director of Learning in the day-to-day operation of the centre, ensuring that our programs are fun, engaging, and provide an excellent level of education and care.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be committed to creating a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment. They will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and possess a Certificate IV in Outside of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children's Services (Education and Care) or Bachelor in Early Childhood or Primary (alternatively ACECQA approved Qualified OSHC qualification).

Responsibilities:

- Support the day-to-day operation of the centre and its services
- Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- Support the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
- Ensure the Centre is compliant with all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards.

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate IV in Outside of School Hours Care or Diploma in Children's Services (Education and Care) or Bachelor in Early Childhood or Primary (alternatively ACECQA approved Qualified OSHC qualification)
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- First aid qualification
- Knowledge of child protection procedures
- A working knowledge of the ACECQA The National Quality Framework (NQF)
